Tedsthe1 Bought this about 1 month ago and so far I am very happy with the purchase. It did take a couple of hours to put together, but nothing I didn't expect. I walk about 2.5miles, 3 or 4 times per week. For the money, I don't think you could go wrong, and Sears has always done right by me. --Ted F.

netcat After a lot of research on treadmills nd reading different reviews on them, i finally purchased this treadmill on the 17th of October, and i had it delivered on the 22nd of October. I needed something basic just for walking at home, where i dont have to worry about dressing for gym and can exercise just while watching my daily shows or programs. I got more than i needed in this treadmill, i was very happy, the price is not bad at all. After all the research this seemed to be a more then perfect for what i needed. and i have to say this is not bad looking at all. Plus i wanted to buy from a local store and who stood behind there product. I have to say the professionalism with sears delivery & setup team was expectional. On time! had it installed in 20 min and it was ready to go! I was one happy customer till that evening when i tried it in the evening, I had merely walked for 15 min when the belt started making a noise and started shifting to the left. I read the manual and followed the instructions but no matter what i did or tried the belt kept getting worse and worse! SO i called the 800 number for sears on the catalog provided by them and somebody with an attidute of no care nd yawning told me somebody will come on the 3rd of november to fix the belt!!! Thats when i panicked!! BUt i called the sears i had purchased from and they were extremly professional about it and immediately told me they will set me up for a replacement within the next five days!!!

That works!! I will be updating my review again once i actually start using the treadmill! The 4 stars is for the customer service from sears! I would advise anybody to purchase the treadmill from sears and not online! since they really stay behind there product! i also intend to purchase the warranty for 3 years from sears since i have to intention of keep purchasing a treadmill and dealing with poeple on the phone! Thank you sears and i will be updating my review about the usage of treadmill once i recieve the new unit and start using it!

Ericlin822 I bought this proform because I am a walker and trying to get some exercise in at night. Look at many units before purchase this. Sear have sales which you can get this under $400 and it is worth it. I also got the replacement warrenty.

We pick up this unit in a sear store where the service was okay. It took me about one and half hours to put it together and the instruction was clear.

Walking on it was great and noice level was tolerable. it is not as advanced or as quiet like a professional grade but consider the money you spend on it, it is great. The heart rate monitor is not as acurate but it gives an idea if you are achieving your target heart rate. The cross bar is a little short for my height (5'10").

Running on it may not be great idea because when the speed reaches 5 or 6 miles per hours and if you are more than 200lb, it felt like it is going to break. The belt is okay with occasional skipping when you reach 3.5 m/hr. The belt does not stay in the center but I guess it is okay because the warrenty and adjustment in the back does not work too well.

Overall if you are not a professional walker or runner, this unit would be okay. It does not save much space because the way it folds (not vertical, have about 60 degree angle). the speaker works well and the control panel is easy to use except it does not light up.

nogoodluck13 This treadmill is a good buy for the price. I looked at treadmilld at other stores and this one has many more features than all the other ones I looked at comparable prices. The control panel is diificult to see if you don't have good lighting, and the ipod speakers give alot of static sometimes. But everything else makes up for it. This treadmill is rated for 250-300lbs, has 16 workout programs, much more than it's competitors at the same price, and is a space saving design to fit in the smallest areas.

The delivery fee is expensive and 2 stores told me the delivery team are trained professionals that will deliver, assemble, and instruct me on the treadmill. I was told a 4-6 delivery time. What I got was 2 guys that arrived at my house at 8:30pm, they had already worked 16 hours and were tired so they rushed through the delivery. Neither one had ever received any training on any fitness equipment. I feel like I was promised more than I received with the high delivery price, so if you can pick it up and assemble it yourself, save yourself the delivery fee.

The treadmill itself is a good treadmill with many features well worth the price.

bjc71084 The ProForm Crosswalk 395 has a ton of features that make it easy to get started on a walking routine. It is packaged to minimize damage and is relatively uncomplicated to get set up and get started right away. The speakers on the iPod connection are not very good, but you can hear enough to keep going. There are 8 crosswalk workouts and 8 weight-loss workouts already programmed for 30 minutes each. I am about 1/2 through them and already have a couple of favorites. The speed and incline increase/decrease buttons are large and work at a touch, plus you can select one of five pre-sets. I don't have a huge room for my home gym, so the fold-up feature is very important to me. It takes up about 3 feet away from the wall, so I still have enough space in the room for yoga and weights. The only thing that I would want different is the strength of the off-gassing smell; it is still noticeable three weeks later and requires some kind of ventilation (which I get from a ceiling fan). So far, this is my all-time best exercise purchase.

97Silverado I bought this a week ago online, picked it up at a local franchise... I decided to assemble it at home and planned on starting that afternoon then finishing up the next day, hopefully. they gentleman who loaded it on my truck said "good luck with the assembly" so I thought I would need "aggravation breaks".. to my surprise, everything fit together quickly and easily, by suppertime we just stopped because we were hungry, we could have completed it otherwise. everything was well marked, was present in the box, the directions were easy to understand. I have been using this machine every day since I got it, the programs are good and overall I would recommend this machine to anybody.. good value for the money and I'm extremely happy with it.Note: This reviewer may have received a benefit, like a sweepstakes entry or rewards program points, in exchange for writing this review. LarrysPlace I was looking for a good basic treadmill. Some friends recommended the ProForm treadmills because of their good experience with theirs. We brought our new treadmill home and assembled it ourselves. Some advice: Take all of the parts out of the carton before trying to carry it inside! It is HEAVY!!! The assembly directions are easy to follow and the parts are well marked. It takes a couple of hours for 2 people to put it all together. It's nice that it folds up and can be pushed out of the way when not in use. The first time you use it, have someone watch from behind, to make sure that the track doesn't drift off to one side, but remains centered. It may need a minor adjustment.Note: This reviewer may have received a benefit, like a sweepstakes entry or rewards program points, in exchange for writing this review. abcoin01 ProForm Crosswalk 395 Treadmill is a nice, inexpensive treadmill for any home. I could not imagine running on a 16" belt... the 395 offers a 18" belt that is great for all speeds and for a larger individual like myself. However, I wish the 395 had odd and even quick speed selections b/c only even are available (2, 4, 6, 8, 10). Sometimes I run at 7 mph and I find myself pushing the speed up arrow several times. Additionally, I was hoping the screen had a backlight that allowed me to better see my stats. At least, I have not figured out if the 395 screen does light up.Note: This reviewer may have received a benefit, like a sweepstakes entry or rewards program points, in exchange for writing this review. epampo We bought this treadmil at a great price and couldn't find it less expensive anywhere else. We were looking for a new treadmill to replace an older ProForm treadmill and saw good reviews on this model. Easy to put together, and was able to assemble it in less than 1 hour (all by myself too!).

This treadmill does what it says. It's a simple treadmill and works just fine. It is a lot quieter than our older model and is a bit smaller. I really like the built in speakers but you can't really crank up the volume. The display is nice but onl problem is the panel does not light up, so if you're using this treadmil in a poorly lit room, you will have issues reading it.

Overall, this is a great treadmill and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple treadmil to use.
