ARDVALDES I but the ProForm Crosswalk 397 Treadmill on Jun 7 2012 and It is broken now.

CliffStewart You get a really good workout. The incline and anything higher than 5 mph will definitely get the heart rate up. It has built in work-out programs for both cross-walk and standard treadmill.

You also have a space for your kindle and beverage. Being that most treadmills do a maximum of 10mph. You don't loose anything by buying this one. But you do save a few hundred bucks. I can't say enough good things, highly recommend!

Kyle-n-Kim My wife and I bought this treadmill at the beginning of the year, so we've used it for a full two months. We absolutely love it! She enjoys challenging herself with a manual workout while I enjoy using the weight loss and crosswalk preset programs. The presets are greatly varied and quite challenging.

The assembly was a 2 hour task alone, but I made a couple mistakes along the way (not to mention I tore the 'pull-through' wire out thinking it was a twisty tie). It would have been a 30-45 minute two man job, I suspect. Everything was accounted for and went together perfectly.

For the money, we couldn't have asked for a better treadmill. We are quite proud of our purchase and hope it lasts a while. We haven't had any trouble except for the incline needs calibrated once in a while (which it does automatically for you). Also, the crosswalk bars are perfect for my 5'2" wife but they are fairly low and uncomfortable for myself at 5'11". I can still use them and they give my lower back a nice workout but extendible handles would have been a great addition.Note: This reviewer may have received a benefit, like a sweepstakes entry or rewards program points, in exchange for writing this review. whiterosebud I have had five back surgeries and need something that I can exercise with throughout the day. I cannot go for a long period of time, so now I can break it up throughout the day and do not have to worry about the outside weather.

I originally set it up as a store pick up but even with my back seats down it would not fit in my car without leaving the trunk open so I changed it to home delivery. I was so happy I did, I was not aware that the deliverymen also put it together and because they put together so many of them, they are done quickly. For the price, you cannot do better.

I was very pleasantly surprised that it has speakers so when I plugged my ipod to the treadmill it played out of the speakers on the treadmill.

oladywidow this treadmill was easy to put together, easy instructions did it by myself, just take your time. the work out programs are great, trying a different one everyday. For the price you really get alot,The crosswalk arms you think , what good are they but you really get added resistance once you use them, and will burn more calories. The screen actually I think is pretty well lit, which says alot since sometimes I need to wear 2 glasses at once.LOL the hardest part of this treadmill was getting it into the house, the box is heavy! recommending it to my friends infact I should get a commision, i think I have already sold 4, and the warranties are better then you would get at a discount store, so research your warranties if you want to buy else where. Alot of bang! for the buck!

CONNconsumer We've had our Proform treadmill for several years now. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it serves its purpose. My husband gets a lot of use out of it, so much so that he cracked the running board twice. We have the protection plan, so the board was replaced, but it took 3 months to get a service technician to complete the repair. Apparently there is one technician for the entire state of Connecticut. I went as far as to call upper management at Sears, but instead of addressing the one man technician issue, I was told I should have rented a treadmill for the time I was waiting for the repair. And they they would pay the cost of the rental, minus any delivery fees. My advice is pay the extra $ and buy from a store who values their customers.

hooping We had wanted to buy a affordable treadmill that didn't really take up space so we bought this one. The men that installed it pressed every incline button which led to the machine getting stuck at the highest incline. virtually unusable. I was extremely upset because i had read previous reviews and had hoped the problem would not occur. We waited 2 weeks for the repairman and he said it was a pinched wire that happens to frequently with these models. The treadmill works but still feels cheap. It makes a sound every time you step if your on for a long time. I would suggest getting the 395 model instead of looking to spend a little more on something better. I don't recommend getting it and risking having to take it apart yourself and send it all back.

Catseye24 I have only had the machine for a couple of days but so far everything works great other than a squeak in the belt. I am hoping that some further adjustments will rectify that. Despite this small issue the belt and incline move smoothly and everything functions as advertised. After reading other comments and reviews I anticipated a somewhat complicated assembly process. I did not find that to be the case. I reviewed the assembly instructions, identified all parts and assembled the appropriate tools before starting. Working alone, (.....and I am a woman) following the instructions step by step I had the machine up and running within an hour. Overall I am very pleased with the quality for the money.

Raheeb I bought this machine a week ago, got help to assemble it, and after two hours of assebmly it didn't work. I called Sears and they sent a technician two days later and he couldn't fix it. He told me it was defective and I should return it. I called Sears and they said since I brough myself then I should bring it back myself to get an exchange. I was furious, this thing is heavey and I have to deassemble it to bring it back.

I told them I wasted my time and effort with a defective model and the best they can offer me was a 10% discount on a different model. I will return the machine and go to ******* for good product and good service.
